Teflan Oil

LANOLENE™ TEFLAN OIL delivers excellent preservation, (TEFLON™ Du Pont Corp.) lubrication and serviceability. Primary use is for Steel Wire Rope, may also be used as a Hydrolysis resistant and load additive for slow speed (non-internal clutch) gearboxes ie. deck winches. Withstands marine weather conditions and constant immersion in salt water.

APPLICATION:

1. STEEL WIRE ROPE:
Provides superior protection from caustic embrittlement. Delivers high interstrand loading and lubrication. Thermal cycling ensures core penetration and active hermetic seal of strands, braiding and core base substrates. Ideally suited to High Speed / High Cycle cables (ie Elevators, Cranes, Marine Winches). Simply brush - on as required from new preferrable.

2. MARINE:
Winch and Windlass lubricant additive (not in gearboxes operating internal friction type clutches). Add LANOLENE™ TEFLAN OIL 1: 5 Extreme High Pressure Oil to reduce hydrolisis (water absorbtion) and increase service life. Excellent performance characteristics derived on "Morse"cables and linkages.

3. PRESSURE FED GLANDS:
Blend LANOLENE™ TEFLAN OIL 1:4 Standard Operating Oil to increase Lubricity and decrease moisture absorbtion of Gland Lubricant. ie Ship Stern (Propeller Shaft) and Pumps. Enhances performance of all Gland Packings.

4. BEARINGS & BUSHES - HIGH TEMPERATURE, SPEED and LOAD:
LANOLENE™ TEFLAN OIL extends service life by introducing Anhydrous ability and increasing load pressures. Bearings and Bushes operating between >10o <40°C (50° - 105°F) will require standard repacking service scheduling. Bearings & Bushes operating <10°C (50°F) and >40°C (105°F) to max. 200°C (390°F), Blend LANOLENE™ TEFLAN OIL 1:4 Bearing Lubricant (suitable for operating extremes) to extend bearing service life and reduce moisture penetration (hydrolisis) of oil. Ideally suited to Bearings operating in moist - wet environments.

Fully compatible with petroleum oils and greases for Service Life Extension.
